Language
Familiarity with the English language (reading, writing and listening skills) is a
prerequisite since we will use the English version of the book by Madigan, M.T., J.M.
Martinko and J. Parker: "Brock - Biology of Microorganisms", International Edition,
Prentice Hall). The 9th edition (1999) and the 10th ed. (2003) of BBOM may be used.
If the participants agree, the entire course will be taught in English. All lectures,
seminars and the minisymposium will be held in English and the students research reports
will also be written in English.
