How to best use the microeco internet pages

The details about the course are listed in the files which are accessible via the links given in the navigation field on the left. Links are blue; they change to red if you pull the cursor over them and remain red as long as a file is activated. Once you activate a new link the color of the one used before will change back to blue.

The pages are represented best with Internet Explorer. The browser can be downloaded as free-ware from the Internet by clicking onto the browser name above. Netscape Communicator, will work as well. Older editions, however, might not be able to make full use of all features offered in this e-learning course. The web pages are best reproduced with the following settings which can be adjusted under Preferences / Voreinstellungen on your computer:

Font Style: Arial
Font Size: 10, 11 or 12
Internet Links: default values. No adjustements are needed since the pages are coded with CSS.
(If you have the impression that certain pages look different from what is intended, we would welcome a short note to the Web-Site Administrator.)

Interactive test questions, which are corrected automatically via the Internet, are linked to the e-learning plattform OLAT or to the homepage of the text book. Your Uni/ETH-Access number and password allow you to access the corresponding files on OLAT. Please follow the instructions given in OLAT precisely when you sign up for this course.

Certain pages can be downloaded to the hard disc of your computer as pdf-files. This is possible with Adobe Acrobat Reader, version 4.0 or later, which can be downloaded as free-ware to the hard disc of your computer. Hard copies are best printed in the standard European A4 page format.
